Lisa Evans
(Members Sec)
I’m passionate about endurance sports and enjoy pushing myself both physically and mentally. Running is a big part of my life, particularly 10km races, and I’m always looking for the next challenge. I’ve taken part in Army Triathlons, which helped build my love for multi-discipline racing and competition. Looking ahead, I’m training with a clear goal in mind: competing in an Ironman 70.3 in 2026. Whether it’s early-morning runs, structured training sessions, or race day itself, I thrive on the sense of progress, discipline, and achievement that sport brings.

Waine Bolger
(Welfare officer)
Waine started running when he joined the military in 2002, but really found enjoyment and passion when he started tackling ultramarathons. He loves the challenge and pushing himself both physically and mentally, which is why he does the long distances. Waine has completed a 100-mile ultra and has plans to carry out more in the future. Qualified in welfare and mental health, Waine likes to encourage runners of all abilities to achieve their running goals.

Katey
(Social Media)
Katey re-found her passion for running in 2022 as she signed up for the 2023 London Landmarks Half Marathon, running for Mind in memory of a close friend. This was Katey’s first half marathon and she has since gone on to run marathons, ultras and her first 100 mile event. Katey had previously had 5 hip surgeries and told she wouldn’t be able to run again but has worked hard building her strength to help her keep pushing harder and further distances. She is an active member of the Tidworth parkrun community and enjoys running (as much as you during 100 mile events). Katey likes to enjoy the moment and captures pictures along the way.
